Smith Vocational has formed a Reopening Committee. In order to better inform our decision making, we are asking that you please take a few moments to fill out this survey. By doing so, you will help us with our initial planning for a safe and effective return to school. We appreciate your patience and support as we navigate toward a safe and effective reopening of our school campus.

The school is required, by DESE, to create 3 plans for reopening in the fall:
1) A plan for full, in-school learning with the goal of 100% of students back on campus.
2) A plan for a hybrid return where delivery of instruction is 50% in-person/50% remote.
3) A plan for fully remote teaching.

In each of the plans that include on-campus learning, we must incorporate social distancing, hygiene, and disinfecting measures as required by the state. Further, our goals also include ensuring that vocational education can continue on campus as much as possible and that any high needs students have access to our campus. For the hybrid and remote learning plans, we must also identify best practices and resources needed to maximize the benefit for all students, while remaining focused on our core mission of vocational education.
